Office of Communications
The Office of Communications (OC) is the news and media resource for the College of Arts and Sciences. We disseminate news and information about the college internally—to faculty, students and staff—as well as externally—to parents, donors, alumni and the public. The OC collaborates with UT Creative Communications to produce the Dean’s Message (an e-letter) three times a year, Accolades Online twice annually, Academic Outreach Newsletter twice annually, and Higher Ground—the premier publication for alumni and friends of the college—once annually. In addition to these publications, we oversee the college website and collaborate with UT Creative Communications to provide website design assistance to the departments, schools, and programs within the college. With the support of UT Media and Internal Relations, we respond to inquiries from the media and the public.
